You'll love it for clear blue water and white sand. Main attraction here is to climb up the rock formation. It's a pretty good spot to see the sunset. Full review by KayeLanuza
can we bring private car to caramoan? or we can park it in a private car park somewhere else near a port to the island? thanks in advance
A:
You can't bring a car to caramoan since the boat that you will ride is just a small boat that they usually use to fish or do island hopping. But you can park your vehicle near the port.

You can still camp on the island but you need to register in the tourism office. We contacted Harvey in Caramoan. He works in the tourism office there, teaches conversation to other locals and can give pointers on how to go about island hopping or touring Caramoan in general. He can sign you up as well if you plan to camp on any of the islands including Matukad Island. He is one of the guys helping with the seasonal Survivor tv show there and can tell you a lot of interesting stories. We got him as our private tour guide, our cook, plus we got him and his crew to stay with us over night on the island in case of emergency. Besides speaking good English to the foreigners we were with, we like him since he kept collecting other people's trash as we went to different islands. Kudos to the guy. So please don't leave any trash behind and don't vandalize any of rock formations. Anyway, his number is +63 947 524 5858. We also rented kayaks and snorkeling gears from him and loaded them on them on the boat which made the trip even more exciting.
I heard camping in matukad beach is not allowed anymore. is this true? Which Island can we camp over night? Thank you!
A:
Hi there, i havent heard that you can camp overnight in matukad, the island is just small, the only thing that you can enjoy is the hidden lagoon. But the beach is phenomenal.
