These are lovely gardens just 15-20 minutes from the Waterfront by car/taxi. They offer a wide selection of plants and the backdrop is just magnificent. Allow yourself at least 2-3 hours to enjoy! Full review by Andy K

I have seen large family groups in the gardens previously - there doesn't seem to be a limit as such, and of course each person pays an entrance fee. There's a lot of space available so it's a case of picking your spot and setting everything up. I cannot imagine the park objecting so long as the group respects others around, the park environment etc. Clearly there's no braii's allowed or facilities for one either.

I don't have a card but you can phone the gardens office. I am a visitor and make use of a Tuesday free entry for Pensioners.
