You have to be impressed with the size of the sculpture , a short drive of the motorway with a small car park id ideal just to break the journey and admired part of the North East Full review by QueenslandTommy

I didn’t visit with a wheelechair user but I would say, yes it is. There is a smooth path right up to the statue from the car parking area.
