This was quite a trek to get to in the car and the track to the car park was under construction but usable. It was worth it however! The boardwalk was great and an easy way to reach the monument. … Full review by MiriEgg

Take a walk on the boardwalk from the light house to appreciate the natural beauty of the area. Beautiful rocks, small little beaches and interesting flora! Full review by PopupTraveller
Hello. I am considering to visit Cape Agulhas in Jan last week from Plettenburg Bay. I may leave post lunch from Pletternburg Bay and drive to Cape Agulhas. I plan to spend the night there and leave for Gansabai for Shark Cage dive in the morning from Cape Agulhas. I would like to know how is the present condition of the roads to drive en route to Cape Agulhas. Also, i plan to drive a mid-size sedan (like Toyota Corolla or similar). Please advise if that is fine or will there be any problem. Also, i would like to know which is a better location to stay-Sanpark or any other location? Look forward to inputs and advise from people who have been there. Thanks.

Hi, we drove there is a regular sedan vehicle, the roads are all tarred and in good condition - we drove on the N2. We did not stay at SanParks but at a little BnB in L'Agulhas. I think we used LekkeSlaap for our booking. We stayed at South Point Self Catering, it is a stones throw from the lighthouse. The roads in the SanPark are gravel but well kept and again, our old Mercedes Benz managed the trip just fine. Enjoy!
