Update: Laguna Fire in Ventura County at nearly full containment
Laguna Fire initially started 9:41 a.m. Jan. 23 in Ventura County. It has burned 83 acres after being active for two days. As of Saturday noon, the fire crew succeeded in containing 90% of the wildfire. However, investigations into the cause are ongoing.

The fire broke out near Laguna Road and Hueneme Road near the university, according to the Ventura County Fire Department.
