WWE NXT viewership slightly dropped on October 8. Wade Keller of the PWTorch reports that NXT drew 874,000 viewers in its second week on The CW Network. In the 18 to 49 demographic, NXT scored a 0.24 rating.

PW Torch reports that the second episode of WWE NXT on the CW Network drew 874,000 viewers on October 1. This number is down slightly from the 895,000 viewers the show drew on October 1. Tuesday's episode posted a 0.24 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic. This number is down slightly from the 0.26 demo rating last Tuesday.

AEW Dynamite aired outside of its typical timeslot on October 8, and the show was up against WWE NXT. Wade Keller of the PWTorch reports that the “Title Tuesday” special episode averaged 329,000 viewers,

It was announced in November 2023 that NXT would be moving from USA to The CW in a five-year deal valued at $20 million-$25 million a year. NXT is the brainchild of Paul “Triple H” Levesque, who now serves as WWE’s chief content officer. The show is currently overseen by Shawn Michaels, himself a WWE Hall of Famer with a legendary in-ring career.
