The New England Patriots and head coach Mike Vrabel have been filling out their new staff one by one over the past week, hoping to build a worthwhile foundation to help lead the fresh regime. Among the names who were brought into the fold is former Patriots offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels.

After hiring Mike Vrabel to be their next head coach, the New England Patriots allowed Vrabel to bring in his choice to be offensive coordinator, and he hired Josh McDaniels for the role. McDaniels is returning to the Patriots for a third stint with the franchise after leaving twice for head coaching opportunities that didn't work out.

Vrabel will reportedly be “the man” making the personnel decisions in New England, along with serving as the head coach. There’s hope that his arrival will be a much-needed wake-up call for a Patriots team coming off three straight losing seasons.
