The Roswell Police Department said a crash involving a police officer and a civilian resulted in the civilian’s death. It happened just before 10 a.m. on Wednesday when the officer was responding to a crash in downtown Roswell.

The Roswell Police Department confirmed one of its vehicles was in a crash that closed Main Street on Wednesday morning.
