PITTSBURGH, Pa. (KDKA) -- An investigation is underway after police say banners with Nazi symbols and messages were found on two different Pittsburgh bridges. Police say the banners had handwritten Nazi symbols and messages on them and were found on Saturday morning on the West End Bridge and on the Tenth Street Bridge.

Pittsburgh Police removed two banners bearing Nazi symbols on city bridges early Saturday morning. One of the banners was found on the West End Bridge near the Route 65 intersection, according to police.

Police say both banners had hand-written Nazi symbols on them and were affixed to the bridges overnight. Neither had a written threat directed toward a specific group or person.

Police are investigating after banners with hand-written Nazi symbols and messages were placed on two bridges in Pittsburgh. Pittsburgh police were notified of the banners/bedsheets placed on the bridges Saturday morning.
