The Smithtown Fire Department responded to a building fire at a golf cart storage and maintenance facility at the Stonebridge Country Club on Raynors Way in Smithtown on Thursday, Oct. 29, 2015.

A proposal to add 28 new homes at Stonebridge Golf Links and Country Club in Hauppauge is before Smithtown's planning board, which would have to roll back restrictions to allow the project.
