Prince William has gone on an early-morning nature walk near South Africa’s Table Mountain to promote the work of conservation rangers in a unique urban national park.

The Prince of Wales took in the views of Cape Town’s famous Table Mountain when he hiked partway up a vantage point.William strode up Signal Hill and met rangers and volunteer conservationists as he learned about the rare and endangered plants that are part of the area’s biodiversity.

Prince William has gone on an early-morning nature walk with Australian conservationist Robert Irwin to promote the work of rangers in a unique national park in South Africa.

The South African National Parks Honorary Rangers has recognised the outstanding achievements of the the Table Mountain Marine Support group which works to protect the marine ecosystems and in the fight against illegal fishing and poaching.
