WWE has been teasing the debut of Penta for weeks, with teaser vignettes airing on WWE Raw. A teaser with Penta's name aired on the January 6th episode of WWE Raw. While Penta has not officially debuted, WWE is already selling Penta merchandise. Shirts, hoodies, and a replica mask are currently available for purchase.

Penta is being billed as WWE's newest "dark luchador," one that has no fear of any person or thing and is driven to be as aggressive as he can in order to accomplish his goals. The creative blurb with Penta's replica mask also touts how he will dive onto and dominate any person who dares to stand in his way.
