Larian Studios has finally added split-screen co-op support for Baldur's Gate 3 on Xbox Series S in patch 8. The feature was originally missing on the cheaper Xbox console following failed efforts to optimize it for the hardware. It is arriving fourteen months after the game's launch on the platform.

The era of Xbox that has spanned almost 25 years appears to be over and at this point it does not seem like there's any going back.
