Stew Leonard’s is issuing a recall for Chocolate Chunk Banana Bread that was sold at the Danbury store because it might contain walnuts, which were not on the label.  The company said the recall was initiated after a customer discovered that a loaf of Chocolate Chunk Banana Bread had walnuts in it,

Stew Leonard’s announced today a voluntary recall of its Chocolate Chunk Banana Bread, saying it may contain undeclared walnuts.

Stew Leonard's is recalling dozens of Chocolate Chunk Banana Bread loaves that were sold at its Danbury location in Connecticut.

The Danbury store was the only location that sold units of the product between Sept. 26-Oct. 2, the spokesperson said. Thirty-nine units were sold.

Stew Leonard’s recalled chocolate chunk banana bread on Thursday. The store said the voluntary recall was because it could contain undeclared walnuts. The product was sold in Stew Leonard’s bakery department between Sept.
