Despite all of the talk surrounding Underwood's inauguration set, the singer was left with some disappointing music news.

While Carrie Underwood may have gained some haters for her inauguration gig, she apparently didn't gain any money. CMG Digital Media head Michael Schweiger said he believes Carrie, 41, performed at the prestigious event to gain honor and exposure.

Carrie’s performance of “America The Beautiful” was blighted with technical issues during last night’s ceremony.

Carrie Underwood handled a musical mishap at the inauguration of President Trump like a pro, improvising and singing a cappella after the soundtrack didn't play.

Besides Carrie, opera singer Christopher Macchio performed “O America,” and the national anthem, during the inauguration. Country singer Lee Greenwood also performed “God Bless the U.S.A,” prior to Trump taking his oath of office.
