The key allure, though, apart from it attempting to find relevant guides and information for whatever you're playing in select games, is its ability to be pinned on-screen while gaming. Y'know, for all the single-screen peasants (kidding—just a personal jab at my single-screen defenders here in the PC Gamer hardware den).

Players can access this feature by going to Microsoft Edge and opening up the Settings and more to find the Game Assist widget. Once installed, the Game Assist feature will be available in the Game Bar. Because the Game Assist shares date with Edge's browser data, players' favorites, browsing history, and cookies will all remain the same.

Microsoft has announced that Game Assist, its recently unveiled in-game browser, is now also available in preview for Microsoft Edge Stable users.
