Metallica is expanding its tour, and two of the stops will be in Ohio. The band announced they are extending into 2025, kicking off with 21 North American shows from April to June. In the expanded tour, they've included cities they haven't visited in years, including Tampa, Denver, Nashville and the Bay area.

Next year’s Sonic Temple takes place at Columbus’ Historic Crew Stadium from May 8-11. Metallica will first be headlining on the 9th, with direct support coming from horror-rocker Rob Zombie. And then on the 11th, Metallica closes out the festival for a second headlining performance, which will be preceded by a performance from Alice in Chains.
