Saturday is a sunny start to a rollercoaster of a weekend when it comes to Denver weather as Colorado will see everything from rain, to snow to gusty winds.

An active weather pattern will move through Colorado this weekend bringing a taste of autumn in Denver for the first day of fall and the first accumulating snow of the season in the mountains.

Cooler conditions, rainfall and snow are anticipated to hit the state on Saturday — just in time for the first day of autumn on September 22. Although Denver isn't expected to see any snowfall this weekend,
