SALT LAKE CITY, UT - In the first-ever game played in Utah for New Jersey, the Devils prevailed 3-1 at Delta Arena on Saturday night. Nico Hischier, Timo Meier and Curtis Lazar scored for the Devils while goalie Nico Daws stopped 24 of 25 shots. Mikhail Sergachev scored the lone goal for Utah.

Timo Meier scored the eventual game-winner as the visiting New Jersey Devils defeated the Utah Hockey Club 3-1 on Saturday night in Salt Lake City.

For the first time ever, the New Jersey Devils headed into Utah to take on the Hockey Club. In a very tight affair, the Devils squeaked out a 3-1 win. Nico Daws stopped 21 of 22 (.XXX%) in the contest. The Devils improve to 33-22-6; Utah falls to 27-25-9.

The New Jersey Devils were poor in their latest loss to the Dallas Stars, and Head Coach Sheldon Keefe wasn't too pleased with two former top-five draft picks.

In their second game back after the 4 Nations Face-Off break, the Nashville Predators play the New Jersey Devils at Bridgestone Arena on Sunday. The Predators beat the Colorado Avalanche 2-1 on Saturday behind Jonathan Marchessault's go-ahead goal in the third period.
