Just six months after making the jump to North America, goaltender Nikke Kokko has reached the NHL with an opportunity to make an impact on the Kraken down the stretch.

The Seattle Kraken have made it clear that Joey Daccord is their starting goalie, but Ales Stezka is the clear choice as the backup.

Philipp Grubauer allowed just two goals in each of his first two games in a Coachella Valley Firebirds uniform, after being assigned by the NHL's Seattle Kraken on Jan. 30. On Saturday inside Acrisure Arena, the Firebirds allowed five goals with Grubauer in the net in a 5-3 loss to the San Diego Gulls.
