While the 121-acre former site of the Waverly Golf Course is in Lansing Township, the City of Lansing owns the site.

The 120 acre former golf course and Michigan Avenue Park sold for $2.2 million and the profits of the sale will go to the Lansing Parks and Recreation Department.

The property formerly known as Waverly Golf Course will head to market for potential sale, the Lansing City Council decided Monday evening.
