Justin Fields' arrival to the New York Jets for the upcoming NFL season won't be the only move, as the addition of a former Super Bowl champion has been confirmed. The New York Jets want to move past Aaron Rodgers’ departure and are slowly starting to think about the upcoming NFL season.

The New York Jets have signed Super Bowl champion wide receiver Tyler Johnson as a new pass catcher for QB Justin Fields in free agency.

The Jets saw enough of Fields to sign him to a two-year, $40 million contract with $30 million guaranteed. With the Steelers, Fields completed 65.8% of his passes for 1,106 yards and five touchdowns to one interception.

While a fresh start may prove what Justin Fields needs at this stage of his career, he'll have to show that he can develop as a passer and be more than just a short-term starter with the Jets.
