Miami football stayed relentless in the transfer portal Saturday, adding two new weapons to bolster both the offense and defense.

Bauman, who spent his first three seasons at Tulane, is ranked as the No. 8 overall tight end available in the portal by 247Sports. The 6-5, 245-pound Bauman has caught 63 passes for 610 yards and 13 touchdowns throughout his tenure at Tulane. That includes 20 catches for 212 yards and seven touchdowns as a junior last season.

On Saturday, Washington State cornerback transfer Ethan O'Connor committed to Miami with three years of eligibility remaining. According to Hayes Fawcett, O'Connor is listed as the No. 2 cornerback in the NCAA transfer portal.

Miami so far has already received commitments from nine players via the transfer portal: Cornerbacks Emmanuel Karnley and Charles Brantley, defensive lineman David Blay, wide receiver CJ Daniels, safety Zechariah Poyser, kicker Carter Davis, long snapper Adam Booker, center James Brockermeyer and now Bauman.
