Only a few months after Arizona Snowbowl's longest season ever, which stretched into June for the first time, the ski resort north of Flagstaff is preparing for its earliest opening ever.

PHOENIX — Arizona Snowbowl is set to begin its winter season on Friday, the earliest start in the resort’s 86-year history.

"This marks the earliest opening day in the resort’s 86-year history," Arizona Snowbowl said as part of the announcement.
