Premier League Fulham begin their FA Cup campaign with a dominant 4-1 victory against second-tier Watford to seal a fourth-round spot.

Marco Silva is relishing the competition between Fulham’s striking options after Rodrigo Muniz and Raul Jimenez got among the goals in their 4-1 victory over Watford in the third round of the FA Cup at Craven Cottage.

Rocco Vata netted a lovely opener, twisting and driving past the visitors' goalkeeper. Watford scored a superb equaliser from around 30 yards, but that did not dent Fulham's resolve. They came back re-energised in the second half and ran away with it, their non-stop attacking never waning in intensity and tormenting the Watford back five.

Fulham had four different scorers as they beat Watford 4-1 in the third round of the FA Cup at Craven Cottage. After a well-worked counter-attack saw Rodrigo Muniz net his first goal of 2025, Rocco Vata scored what will be considered a goal-of-the-competition contender with a thumping long-range effort to draw the sides level.

Fulham boss Marco Silva left Watford under a bit of a cloud in 2018, so it will be interesting to see what sort of reception he gets from their travelling fans. Watford had been going pretty well under Tom Cleverley but three successive defeats have halted their progress a bit.
