A taxi cab jumped the curb and slammed into six pedestrians walking near Macy’s on W. 34th St. and Sixth Ave. on Wednesday afternoon, NYPD officials said.

The incident occurred outside of the New York City Macy's on 34th Street and 6th Avenue shortly after 4 p.m. Wednesday.

Its 2.5 million square-feet Manhattan store is an iconic part of the Macy's portfolio and has become a New York landmark after featuring on classic Christmas film Miracle on 34th Street.
