Washington football is landing an intriguing quarterback in the transfer portal as the Huskies enter their second year in the Big Ten conference. Jedd Fisch’s quest to rebuild this program, which made the National Championship game a little over a year ago,

The UW football team added some veteran depth at QB from the transfer portal with the commitment of Kai Horton, who spent the past four seasons at Tulane.

At Washington, Horton will compete with four other quarterbacks including sophomore Demond Williams, who played in 13 games last season (944 yards passing, eight touchdowns, and one interception).

Former Tulane QB, Kai Horton, announced that he has committed to transfer to UW. The 6’4” 219 lb QB has one year of eligibility left after playing in 15 games in 4 years at Tulane. Kai played in high school at Carthage High School in Texas.
