It's safe to assume that Chicago Bears interim head coach Thomas Brown isn't a legitimate candidate to be named the team's next full-time head coach.

Thomas Brown has more than one interview on his plate. The Bears ’ interim head coach, who will interview for the permanent position as part of the team’s wide-ranging search, is expected to talk to the Seahawks about their offensive coordinator vacancy, a source confirmed.

During his exit interview with the media this week, Brown said he believes that the team is not as far away from success as many may believe, despite playing in a competitive NFC North.
