A man with a criminal history spanning nearly two decades in Wake County has been sentenced for his latest felony conviction.

Kenneth Edward Kirby Jr, 21, was developed as a suspect by Raleigh investigators in a shooting in the 500 block of Glenwood Avenue. Officers found a man with a gunshot wound shortly after 1:30 a.m.

An arrest was made Monday in one of the two shootings in the Glenwood South area of Raleigh last week, police said.
