January 14, 2025: Today, The Genesis Prize announces President of Argentina Javier Milei as the 2025 Genesis Prize Laureate, the first time the award, known as “The Jewish Nobel Prize,” has been bestowed upon a head of state.

The mission of the Genesis Prize is to foster Jewish identity, inspire Jewish pride, and strengthen the bond between Israel and the Diaspora.

On January 14, 2025, The Genesis Prize Foundation announced the 2025 Genesis Prize was awarded to President of Argentina Javier Milei, marking the first time the award has been bestowed upon a head of state.

The Genesis Prize (פרס בראשית) seeks to recognize individuals who have attained excellence and international renown in their chosen professional fields, and whose actions, in addition to their achievements, embody the character of the Jewish people through commitment to Jewish values, the Jewish community and/or to the State of Israel.
