There are 4 types of Patterns and 2 War Flags on the map, whose unique abilities you can learn about in the game — you can use them an unlimited number of times in Guild War and Arena modes, whether you’re attacking or defending.

War Flags and their Patterns give your teams and Heroes additional bonus skills in all hero combats – Arena, Grand Arena, Guild War and Clash of Worlds – except for the Guild Raid mode. They can be applied and used for attacking and defending teams.

On December 3rd, a new adventure map will be available, where you will encounter a new flag and pattern with new abilities. Try to guess what they will be? Nov 23, 2023 · For maxed out players, I'd imagine that war flags/patterns could be a game changer and are far more valuable than other resources. But for new players, especially f2p players like me, 20k emeralds can improve my heroes way more than a flag/pattern and will benefit in boss raids and campaign.
